Irony?

When I started this blog, I thought it would be a good alternative to the tired tradition of mass-emails. By harnessing the awesome potential of the internet, friends could check out updates at their leisure, without having them glaringly forced into their inboxes. I hoped it would strike a good balance between the student-abroad over-share and falling hopelessly out of touch. As time progressed I ran out of update-worthy information and started e-babbling.

Curious to see if anyone was listening, I slapped a hit counter on this thing, and lately have been horrified by the results. People other than Kevin and Laura are actually looking at this thing: who knew?
